After quite a few hours of coordinating the setup of SVN servers, wikis and MySQL databases, modifying PHP code to make it run on the new setup, rebuilding tables by hand, and other fun stuff, I can say that the project is once again ready to go!

We have a SVN server hosted in the Netherlands (thanks to kk), this website and the wiki hosted in Switzerland (thanks to macpirate.ch), and the forum hosted on the US (thanks to BugDave). The project is mirrored on Google Code as well, in case anything goes wrong.

The trac isn't quite ready to work again yet (neither server has Python yet...). As a result, we've replaced it with DokuWiki to keep the wiki pages up. Thanks to Fish for his work at bringing the pages over from the trac... manually!

Finally, no thanks to whoever supported §202c. You know who you are.

As you may well be aware, we have moved this part of the site offshore to Switzerland. The German politicians have shown their lack of understanding of security matters by deciding to ban anything that can be used to breach security.

While it may make security tools slightly harder to obtain in the short term, the end result is that nothing changes - everyone just moves their projects offshore. The Internet is a global entity. Evil malicious hackers will still be able to get their hands on security software, whether it is banned or not.

The interesting part was that while KisMac has network cracking features, it's not primarily designed to breach the security of networks. It was never meant primarily for that purpose. And even if we took the WEP cracking features out, it would still be illegal because it is capable of intercepting traffic.
